Our Story

Welcome to Dove & Olive

It all started when I decided I wanted to learn how to sew in May of 2025. My Mom got me my first sewing machine for my birthday and I fell in love with crafting.

Ever since I was a junior in high school, I knew I was going to start a business. I had no idea what kind of business since I've always had broad interests, but I knew that's what I wanted to do. Years later, I got the call to action. After all of the experiences I had had leading up to that time, I knew I wanted my business to glorify God and share his love & grace. 

In October 2025 I ordered a box of handcrafted goods from Israel to support their artisans and in the pamphlet with the box was the story of the Dove & Olive branch from Genesis. After the great flood, Noah sent out a dove, which returned with a freshly plucked olive leaf in its beak, signaling that the floodwaters were subsiding and land was emerging, thus representing hope, new life, and the end of God's judgement. This established the Dove & Olive branch as universal symbols of peace and new beginnings. I knew at that moment that would be the name of my business.
